Description:DescriptionWildlife biologist will assist staff biologists and project managers. Tasks may include writing biology sections of NEPA documents (EAs and EISs), writing Biological Assessments and Biological Evaluations, and writing field survey reports. Other tasks may include implementation of threatened and endangered species/sensitive species surveys, wildlife habitat and plant community mapping, wetland surveys, population surveys, species identification, grazing/timber evaluations, fire and fuels management evaluations, and development of management plans. This position would be responsible for supporting field survey efforts with activities such as sensitive wildlife surveys, wildlife habitat mapping, fisheries surveys, and habitat evaluations.
